The joint-stock company "Franzeluţa" could be privatized, says the president of the DA Platform, Dinu Plîngău. These statements are rejected by government representatives, Radio Moldova reports.

The privatization of the largest producer in the bakery industry in the Republic of Moldova SA Franzeluţa would be a major risk for the national economy and food security of the country, especially in the current conditions, says the president of the DA Platform, Dinu Plîngău.

"We are in the midst of agri-food economic crises that some monopolists are creating unjustified price increases. I have heard some statements about intentions or potential intentions for SA Franzeluţa to be privatized. If these things are done, we will categorize them as an attack on the food security of the Republic of Moldova ", said Dinu Plîngău.

Government spokeswoman Anastasia Taburceanu denied the allegations.

"The government will not comment on such speculative statements ", Taburceanu said.

The representatives of SA Franzeluţa said that they will come with a reaction after all the information on this subject is analyzed.
