Former director of "Lucian Blaga" high school in Tiraspol has challenged his dismissal in court
The former director of the "Lucian Blaga" high school in Tiraspol, Ion Iovcev, challenged in court the order of the former Minister of Education, Lilia Pogolşa, to dismiss him from office. The announcement was made in a post on a social network, Moldova 1 reports.
"In order for justice to triumph, on September 16, I submitted a request to the Chisinau Court to challenge the order," the former director wrote.
Ion Iovcev was removed from the management of the "Lucian Blaga" high school in June. Officials from the Ministry of Education said Iovcev lost his job because he reached the age of 70, and according to the Labor Code, the position of director can be held until the age of 65.
