More parking places to be built in Chisinau

Mayor general of Chisinau Ion Ceban announced that more parking places will be built in Chisinau. This was announced in the show “Moldova Live” on Moldova 1 TV.

„ The parking lots are connected to the transport system. Dedicated lanes, public transport, parking places, electronic ticketing – all these things should be regarded as a whole. We are now working on the concept of multistory parking places, in yards of apartment buildings, in the perimeter of streets that are parallel to arteries. I will tell you the number of parking places in a month”, said Ion Ceban.

The mayor announced that the stopping up of streets with cold asphalt started in Chisinau as such works can be performed during the cold period of the year. The works to lay warm asphalt will begin in March.
