Shelters filled up with dogs and cats during winter holidays
Shelters for dogs and cats are full during winter holidays. Pet owners, who have nobody to take care of their pets during the winter vacation, go to these shelters. Owners can see online what the animals are doing, Mesager reports.
During the winter holidays, all shelters are full.
"When owners leave us animals, we always keep in touch with them. The animals are filmed and the movie is transmitted to the owners", said the director of the shelter for animals, Ludmila Sericova.
Animals are fed with their favorite food.
"Each animal is fed upon the owners’ request, once, two or three times a day. Every day we prepare food, "said Ludmila Sericova.
Carers try not to make the animals feel bored.
"I love animals a lot. Animals are very dear to me. I like to walk them and feed them, "said the animal caretaker, Iurie Mereuţă.
There are also shelters for birds.
