Other 61 thousand people will benefit from social allowances on holidays. The MPs did not contest the Government's decision to offer sums of 600 lei. Three days after the Executive assumed responsibility before the Parliament, no censure motion was filed, and the project entered into force automatically, Moldova 1 TV reports.
The aid will reach over eight thousand elderly people receiving social allowances of several hundred lei. Allowances were also granted to people with disabilities.
Previously, 550 thousand people who get pensions less than 2000 lei, benefited from social allowances.
