Iurie Ţurcanu: The Republic of Moldova will have more Universal Centers for Public Services Delivery in rural areas

The Republic of Moldova will have several Universal Centers for the Public Services Delivery in rural areas in the next 12 months, said the Deputy Prime Minister for digitalization, Iurie Ţurcanu, during the "Public Space" show on Radio Moldova.

Thus, citizens will not have to travel to district centers or the capital to pick up certain documents issued by the National Social Insurance Agency or the Public Services Agency.

"We anticipate that the number of consumers will continue to grow. Initially some criteria were taken for the pilot period left with a greater distance from the district center and villages with less proximity. In September, the pilot period for the first services will end", said Iurie Ţurcanu.

According to the official, in the next 12 months, the network of centers is to reach the number of 80, subsequently, to be increased to 120 centers.
