Maia Sandu: Those who work must receive more than pensioners, otherwise everyone will want to be pensioners
Working people must have a higher income than retirees, otherwise everyone will want to be retired. The statement was made by the head of state, Maia Sandu, during a TV show.
Maia Sandu was confident that the government did the right thing when it decided to offer an aid of 3,000 lei to people with salaries lower than 15,000 lei and 1,500 lei to pensioners, and not the other way around.
"We will offer 1,500 lei, and those with low incomes will benefit from gas compensation. But we must understand that people who work must receive more than those who do not work", said Maia Sandu.
