Moldovan farmers are encouraged to produce eco-certified seed material
Local farmers who produce certified organic seed will be supported by the authorities. The Ministry of Agriculture announces the launch of a project in this regard - "From seed to shelf", financially supported by the European Union.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the project activities will be carried out until February 2022 and are focused on the development of Solanaceae plants, especially potatoes.
The project also includes seminars with the participation of teams of international experts and farmers from our country, in order to take over the cultivation, distribution, logistics and marketing experience of farmers in Luxembourg, as well as to identify techniques for adapting crops to drought.
