Nine kindergartens and a school in Moldova are in quarantine

Nine preschools in Moldova operate remotely due to quarantine as in the case of 92 classes. According to the Ministry of Education and Research, in the last week, 348 students and 48 children tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the data presented, on February 11, this year, 57 students studying in technical vocational education institutions were tested positive for the new Coronavirus. During the same period, 30 students became infected.

At the same time, a total of 234 teachers, 136 of whom work in primary, secondary and high schools, are infected with the new Coronavirus.

A total of 140 people were contaminated from the non-teaching and auxiliary staff.

According to the latest data presented by the relevant ministry, the vaccination rate of full-time preschool teachers reaches 76.46%. 84.51% of teachers were immunized against COVID-19, 86.89 percent of teachers working in technical vocational education institutions, and 85.17 percent of teachers teaching in universities in the country.
