New SMURD intervention in Moldova
A 38-year-old woman, a citizen of Moldova, suffered a serious trauma in Egypt. The woman was brought to Moldova by airplane. Subsequently, the patient was taken over by the SMURD medical and paramedical crew and was safely transported from Chisinau International Airport to Balti.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, during the flight the person was monitored by an SMURD crew. In Balti, the patient was hospitalized at the Balti Municipal Clinical Hospital for surgery.
Since the beginning of the year, 57 SMURD interventions have been carried out to provide qualified assistance to our citizens.
