Oreste Tărîţă launched the book "State and Interstate Protocol: History and Current Affairs"
What are the rules of protocol and diplomatic ceremony or the rules of etiquette? All are explained in the book "State and Interstate Protocol: History and Current Affairs", launched by Oreste Tărîţă, doctor habilitat in political science, associate professor. The publication is intended for officials, protocol services, external relations departments of central and local public administration structures, but also for business people or academia, Moldova 1 reports.
For this publication, the author Oreste Tărâţă accumulated information and materials for four years.
"Materials from US libraries were used, as well as from Spain, France and other European countries. At the official level we could talk about official visits, official receptions, dress ethics, the code of good manners. Precise guidelines are given, what we have to do, how to proceed in different circumstances," specifies Oreste Tărîţă, the author of the book.
The event took place at the National Library, which was attended by officials and experts in the field.
"He managed quite well to make a comparative analysis of the main aspects and elements of the institutional diplomatic and ceremonial protocol of different countries and different regions: starting with the official meetings and ending with the behaviour during a dinner," says Nicolae Osmochescu, university professor of international law.
"It is a very important work, especially since there are military nuances here, the protocol is also a military element," said Igor Cutie, secretary of state, Ministry of Defence.
"This paper gives a very interesting perspective on the rules of protocol, both in terms of history and current events. I congratulate the author for the huge amount of information he managed to put in this book," says Marius Toth, Charged with Business, Romanian Embassy in Chisinau.
A special chapter of the book is dedicated to the business environment.
"Currently, Moldovan businessmen need to know the psychological subtleties of the countries with which they have concluded various treaties or plan to negotiate and thus help the Republic of Moldova to get out of the economic stalemate," said Oreste Tarita, author of the book.
The author of the book, Oreste Tărîţă, is an expert in ceremonial protocol and etiquette, a doctor of political science and an associate professor.
