Roads in the country are used in winter conditions
The accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network, the State Road Administration (ASD) announced in a press release. ASD warns drivers to equip their vehicles and adjust their speed to winter conditions.
During the night of March 2, the maintenance works of the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where the interventions of the territorial units of SA “Drumuri” were necessary: in the North, Centre and South areas, patrol works were carried out, anti-slip and snow removal.
In the technological process, were involved: special equipment - 110 (units); non-slip material - 1248.5 (tons); road workers - 161 (persons).
At present, the accessibility of the road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network.
The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations in force regarding the equipping of vehicles with appropriate tires and the adaptation of the speed regime to the winter traffic conditions.
