Strada Ion Creangă from Chisinau - in capital repair
Ion Creangă Street in the Buiucani sector of the capital is in the process of modernization. However, some unforeseen works have occurred in the project. Thus, in the waiting stations of the public transport on Ion Creangă Street, additional asphalt consolidation works will be carried out, reports Moldova 1.
In this regard, a tender for the project is to be made and the Task Book amended.
"We are working on the construction of the traffic lights, the networks are laid, we are planning to enter the rehabilitation of the Belinski - Coca sidewalks and we plan the asphalting of the road in July," says Oleg Caraman, Deputy Head of Transport Department, Chisinau City Hall.
"The project envisaged only milling the top layer and covering three or six centimeters of asphalt but with the experience we had on the boulevard Stefan cel Mare, where the asphalt pavers in the waiting stations were decided by the experts to be more consoling at the waiting stations and then it is necessary to review the Task Book," said the interim mayor of the capital, Ruslan Codreanu.
Street modernization activities began in October last year. The cost of the works is 44.6 million lei, money allocated from the municipal budget.
