Public transport in Chisinau will run on separate lanes starting with next week. This was announced by the acting mayor, Ruslan Codreanu, Moldova 1 TV reports.
The demarcation of public transport lanes was announced two weeks ago, and the first streets to be tested are Alexandru Puşkin and Bănulescu-Bodoni, Stefan cel Mare and Sfânt Boulevard.
The General Directorate for Public Transport and Communication shall prepare a plan to this end.
The running of public transport on separate lanes is meant to streamline the circulation of public transport.
