The EU will allocate money to Chisinau City Hall to protect its natural and cultural heritage

The European Union will allocate 115,000 euros to the Chisinau City Hall for the protection of the natural and cultural heritage. A project in this regard was voted in the Chisinau Municipal Council, reports Moldova 1.

Thus, the mayor's office was accepted to participate in the ArheoDanube program: Archaeological parks in urban areas as a tool for sustainable local development.

Thanks to this project, the municipality will obtain a basic study on the archaeological heritage of Chisinau and its position in local development policies and plans.

The study will be integrated in the General Urban Plan and the zonal one. Chisinau City Hall will contribute to the project with an amount of 20,000 euros.
