Tennis player Radu Albot won the Challenger tournament in Istanbul

Tennis player Radu Albot, number 108 in the world, won the Challenger tournament in Istanbul.

In the final, the 32-year-old athlete defeated the Czech Lukas Rosol, score 6-2, 6-0.

Istanbul Challenger is a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. He is currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour. It takes place annually in Istanbul, Turkey.

Radu Albot is a professional tennis player from the Republic of Moldova. According to his performances, he is the best Moldovan tennis player of all time. In August 2014, he managed to reach the first round for Moldova in the first round of the US Open tournament, where he lost to the Frenchman Gilles Simon in three sets, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2.
