"TeleFilm - Chisinau" is re-launching its activity
Studio "TeleFilm - Chişinău", set up 60 years ago, relaunches its activity. A team of professionals, trained and crafted on the National Television's filming platforms, aims to give new impetus to the "TeleFilm - Chisinau" creations. The TRM.MD team surprised them with the preparations for re-launching the studio.
The idea of re-launching cinema art within the television belongs to the journalist Mircea Surdu. Only barely separated from the sphere of managerial activity, Mircea Surdu confesses that he is perceiving the new activity as a return to creative life.
"It lasted too long, for 5 years in a bureaucratic office, among papers, and I felt life happening elsewhere without me. I have escaped in time and now I am in a hurry to recover. I am eager to bring this life into a documentary," said Mircea Surdu, as the director of the new department "TeleFilm - Chisinau" within the National Audiovisual Public Broadcasting Company "Teleradio - Moldova".
The team is small, with immense forces and capabilities. Each of the four members of the team met the values of the television art on the public television set.
Director Diana Donica: "I've worked in many areas on television. There are practically no things I have not tried. It was inevitable to try something else. I want to get close to the depth of the documentary of things that remain in time," said director Diana Donica.
Journalist Eugene Popovici: "The documentary is about knowledge. I chose to be part of this studio because I think we do not know who we are. Documentary is a roentgen of society. Show without redoing reality. And I want to show this reality and motivate people to change it."
This year, the team aims to produce 12 documentaries. Although the theme of the selected films is a diverse one, the focus will be the man, the destiny that follows him.
The first production cast in the studio "TeleFilm - Chisinau" will be launched at the end of February - "My Slovenia with Ala Adamia".
The reopening of "TeleFilm - Chisinau" takes place during the implementation of the project "Promoting Media Freedom and Pluralism in the Republic of Moldova", supported by the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The studio will be launched on Tuesday, February 20, at 11:00 at the Moldova 1 Public Television Technical Center.
