Vlad Ţurcanu about the challenges of Moldova 1 TV to broadcast the World Football Championship: "The Public Broadcaster is committed to act in the interests of the citizens"

The Republic of Moldova deserves to watch a "well packed" World Football Championship, and the Public Broadcaster is committed to act in the interests of the citizens. The statement was made by the general director of the Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova" Vlad Ţurcanu, during the "Arena Mondiala" show on Moldova 1 TV. The general director of TRM stressed that in this way the citizens will feel that they are respected and are offered what all the civilized world have.

"For a TV channel like Moldova 1 TV, it is one of the most important events of the year (...). Beyond some commercial advantages, it is about image and the Public Broadcaster is committed to act in the interests of the citizens and the Republic of Moldova deserves to have a well-packed World Championship, with good commentators, with a good organization (.. .). We are also there, even if we are a small state, along with many other football fans who will be keeping an eye on Qatar (...), said Vlad Ţurcanu.

According to the TRM’s general director, the preparations for this event took several months. "We have gathered a very serious group of professionals who can work together, coordinate, in order to deliver a very good product that meets the objective of this event in Qatar. So I am confident that people will keep eyes on the public TV channel."
