Moldovan wrestler Alexandrin Guţu climbed the podium at the World Championships

The Moldovan Greco-Roman wrestler Alexandrin Guţu climbed the podium at the World Championships reserved for athletes under the age of 20. He won the bronze medal in the competition of the weight category of 77 kilograms.

Alexandrin Guţu obtained three victories at the "under 20" World Championships, which took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Moldovan fighter defeated opponents from Kazakhstan, India and Iran. In the semi-final, Guţu lost to an athlete from Turkey, and in the small final he had the Azerbaijani Khasay Hasanli.

German Deni Nakaev became the champion of Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category of 77 kilograms.
