The new General Secretary of the Government was presented to the team
Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţa presented to the team the General Secretary of the Government, Igor Talmazan, appointed to the position, on Wednesday, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Head of the Executive expressed her confidence that the new head of the State Chancellery possesses the necessary experience to contribute to the strengthening of the institution's capacities and the achievement of the key objectives for the next period.
In this context, Natalia Gavriliţa referred to the concept of reorganisation of the State Chancellery, developed by the former Secretary General of the Government, Dumitru Udrea, emphasising that the document will be the basis for the efficiency of the institution's activity.
Among the priorities for the next period, the Prime Minister mentioned the completion of the Public Administration Reform Strategy, the improvement of the processes of implementation and execution of decisions, but also the consolidation of the processes related to the EU integration of the Republic of Moldova.
For his part, Igor Talmazan mentioned that he wants an efficient collaboration and an open dialogue with the employees of the State Chancellery, saying that teamwork is essential for achieving all the proposed objectives.
Igor Talmazan worked, until now, in the position of director of the Customs Service. Previously, he worked as a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, head of the Prime Minister's Control Body, deputy minister of the Environment.
