Eurovision Moldova 2025: Etapa Naţională finalists revealed
On January 18, the public broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova" organised the live auditions stage, after which 12 finalists were chosen to compete in the National Final.
The singers and bands competing in the National Final on February 22 are:
Zelorielle - Miracle
Vadim Eleni - Mamă, să fii!
Royals ST - Zboară-n sus
PRIZA feat. Mc MIKE - Kookoo
Katy Rain - Timpul
Cătălina Solomac - Demons
Rina - Dorinţele
Bacho & CARNIVAL BRAIN - Semafoare
LODOS - Sentimental
Nadya Crajevschi - Not a shadow
Chris Cross - Eu vin
Sasha Bognibov - All-night party
The songs were analyzed only by the jury, whose members were:
Elena Stegari - journalist, head of radio television department, TRM;
Lidia Isac - singer, Eurovision Moldova 2016 representative;
Victoria Cuşnir - journalist, radio host;
Vlad Costandoi - music manager;
Andrei Zapşa - deputy general director for development, TRM.
The evaluation criteria included: the melodic line, originality of the song and interpretation. The jury gave 0 to 12 points for each competing song.
The finalists will perform in the National Final on February 22 with a full performance including choreography and stage costumes. The winner will be chosen based on 50% jury vote and 50% public vote.
Last year, Natalia Barbu represented Moldova at Eurovision with her song In The Middle, but couldn’t qualify for the grand final.
The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will take place between 13-17 May 2025 with the Semi-Finals held on 13 and 15 May and the Final on 17 May.
