"100 best posters from Germany, Austria and Switzerland" exhibited at the National Museum of Art of Moldova
The most innovative visions and methods of making posters from three European countries can be seen in Chisinau at the exhibition entitled "100 best posters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland". The event is organized by the German Cultural Center "Akzente" and the National Museum of Art of Moldova, Moldova 1 TV reports.
Our visitors are interested in the design of the 100 most valuable posters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The competition has reached its 20th international edition and aims to ensure the continuity of this genre of art in the German-speaking world.
"600 contestants participated in the contest with a number of 1,973 posters. The jury has selected the best posters you see here: 43 posters are from Germany, 7 from Austria and 50 from Switzerland. Posters of all kinds designed in all techniques ", says the German ambassador to Chisinau, Angela Ganninger.
The exhibition represents the advanced level of poster design art currently in German-speaking countries. These are works by professional artists, but also by students, who have gone through a rigorous selection of the international jury.
"Beyond the strictly cultural significance of this project, we consider that the 100 best posters can serve as a source of inspiration both for students, for young professionals, but also for the most experienced. Even if we tend to consume more and more digital or digitized content, the poster remains indispensable, especially in the sphere of culture and events ", says the director of the German Cultural Center" Akzente ", Corina Gârlă.
The 100 best posters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland can be seen at the National Museum of Art of Moldova until December 21.
