The amount of the average monthly salary in the economy could be increased

The average monthly salary in the economy, predicted for 2019, could be set at 6,975 lei. A project in this regard was recently examined by the National Anti-Corruption Center. The document is to be examined by the Government, reports Radio Moldova News.

Experts said the document did not contain risk factors that could trigger the risk of corruption. However, they noted that the authorities did not comply with the legal provisions on transparency in the decision-making process, because the project was not publicly debated. Therefore, the legal right of the interested parties to participate in the decision-making process to promote the document was restricted, reads the report of the National Anticorruption Center.

TRM.MD mentions that the average monthly salary in the economy, expected in 2018, was 6,150 lei. In 2017, that indicator was set at the level of 5,300 lei, and then increased by 300 lei.
