The Republic of Moldova could buy natural gas from Azerbaijan
The Republic of Moldova could buy 300 million cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan. This was announced by Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţa for the Azerbaijani media, TVR Moldova reports, quoted by Radio Moldova.
The head of the cabinet of ministers from Chisinau was in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, between October 10 and 12. The priority reason for the visit was to ensure the necessary quantities of natural gas for the Republic of Moldova.
Natalia Gavriliţa said that she requested, for a period of two months, a volume of 300 million cubic meters of gas, reasoning that no country wants to be dependent on a single supplier. Therefore, alternative suppliers are being sought.
