Deputy-governor of the BNM, on the benefits of joining the Single Euro Payments Area: "Cost - lower, speed - higher"

The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) announces that with the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), citizens will be able to send money from one account to another more easily. And for companies, as well as for citizens, the cost will be lower and the speed will be higher.

In an interview published by the NBM, the Deputy Governor of the Bank, Arcadie Albul, announces that the main beneficiaries of this accession to SEPA payments are ordinary people who make and receive payments in euros to and from 36 countries.

According to the deputy-governor, the banking reforms are now to begin.
