Andrei Năstase, the candidate of the DA Platform for the position of prime minister

The leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform (DA), Andrei Năstase, is the platform's candidate for prime minister. An announcement in this regard was made by DA Platform Vice President Alexandru Slusari during a briefing. According to Andrei Năstase, the DA Platform is ready to assume the government, ensuring a minority anti-crisis government until the start of the early parliamentary elections.

"The DA Platform relies on the responsibility of the entire political class in order to install a pro-European government, composed of people meant to qualitatively manage the problems of the citizens and to organize early parliamentary elections. (…) The DA Platform announces its readiness to create and assume an anti-crisis minority government until the organization of early elections," said the leader of the DA Platform, Andrei Năstase.

"We ask the president of the country for immediate consultations during which we will present our candidacy for the position of prime minister, A. Năstase. Our approach is also addressed to the deputies who share the desires of our people for freedom, justice and a better life at home. The situation is critical. We make this assumption to prevent the legal blockage, crisis, or throwing the country into the hands of Dodon and Sor. Now Maia Sandu has a choice. (…) The ball is on her territory," said the vice-president of the DA Platform Alexandru Slusari.

TRM.MD recalls that during today the PSRM leader, Igor Dodon, also came with his own candidate for the position of prime minister. It is about the former Minister of Finance and Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to London, Mariana Durleşteanu.
