MPs who left the PDM faction created the "Pro-Moldova" parliamentary group
The six MPs who left the PDM faction announced today in the plenary session of the Parliament that they have formed a "Pro-Moldova" parliamentary group. The leader of the group was elected the MP Andrian Candu, and the MP Sergiu Sârbu was appointed secretary. In this context, they requested the registration of the group.
"Under the provisions of the Parliament Regulation, we announce that the following members of Parliament left the faction of the PDM - Andrian Candu, Sergiu Sârbu, Vladimir Cebotari, Corneliu Padnevici, Eleonora Graur and Grigore Repeşciuc. Also, we inform you that the members of the parliamentary group (...) decided to set up the "Pro-Moldova" parliamentary group, said Sergiu Sârbu.
In turn, the president of the PDM parliamentary faction, Dumitru Diacov, said that he took note of the decision of the 6 MPs.
"This morning the faction voted to exclude former colleagues from the parliamentary faction and gives them a green line to float on the turbulent waves of Moldovan politics. I am sorry that Mr. Sârbu did not get a higher function in this format. Good luck, dear colleagues", said Dumitru Diacov.
We recall that yesterday, during a briefing, the MPs announced that they are leaving the PDM faction, due to dissensions within the faction.
