The Office for the Republic of Moldova of PSD Romania was opened in Chisinau
The office for the Republic of Moldova of the Social Democratic Party of Romania was inaugurated on Thursday in the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Moldova. The President of the Office is Iurie Ciocan, ex-President of the Central Electoral Commission, ex-Director of the Center for Implementation of Reforms within the Filip Government, university professor, doctor of political sciences, expert in electoral law.
The interim president of PDM, Monica Babuc, welcomed the inauguration of the Office for the Republic of Moldova of PSD Romania, noting that it will contribute to the development of the strategic partnership between the two political formations that share social democratic values and that have the same strategic objective: the European integration of the Republic Moldova.
For his part, the President of the Organisation for the Republic of Moldova of PSD Romania, Iurie Ciocan, mentioned that the Office inaugurated today will make political communication with all Romanian citizens permanent.
The two political formations have a long-standing friendly relationship, which was strengthened by the Collaboration Agreement signed on May 19, 2021, in Bucharest. PDM and PSD Romania have committed to ensure the multiplication of the active participation of the two parties in the political and social-economic life of the two countries for the benefit of the citizens, including by continuing the twinning process between the Town Halls led by the exponents of PDM and PSD Romania.
