Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ireland pays a visit to Chisinau
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ireland, Simon Coveney, pays a visit to Chisinau. The working schedule in Chisinau of the Irish official will also include a meeting with his counterpart Nicu Popescu and with the president of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.
The talks of the two diplomats will focus on opportunities for sectoral cooperation with Ireland in the context of European Union integration and candidate status, the implementation of joint bilateral projects for the benefit of our citizens, and the evolution of the security situation in the region amid the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
