The security objectives of the Republic of Moldova, discussed by Maia Sandu with the director of the Romanian Intelligence Service

The increased level of security risks, the possibility of the intensification of arms trafficking, terrorist and cyber attacks, radicalization and disinformation were the topics discussed by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, during the meeting with the director of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Eduard Raul Hellvig.

The head of state mentioned, during the discussion, the security objectives that are set before the profile institutions of the Republic of Moldova, namely: the transparency of the Intelligence and Security Service's activity, the development of an effective parliamentary control mechanism over the field of national security, the increase of citizens' trust  in the institutions responsible for the security of the country's information space and effective regional and international cooperation.

The Director of the Romanian Intelligence Service is making a working visit to Chisinau.
