The Democratic Party of Moldova has changed its name and has a new leadership
The Democratic Party of Moldova has a new leadership. It is about the former Minister of Agriculture, Ion Sula, who was elected to the position of president of the party, during the 10th Extraordinary Congress of PDM, reports Radio Moldova.
The founder of the formation, Dumitru Diacov, no longer holds the position of honorary president. He also withdrew from the National Political Council. At the same time, the Congress delegates voted today for the renaming of the formation. Thus, after the Public Services Agency registers the changes, PDM will officially become the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE).
