President Maia Sandu spoke with US Senator Steve Daines about the aftermath of the war in Ukraine
The security situation in Moldova, the consequences of the war in Ukraine for our country and the Moldovan-American bilateral agenda were the topics of discussion between the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the US Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Republican Party of Montana, who is paying a working visit to Chisinau, Radio Moldova reports.
Maia Sandu thanked for the support provided, over time by the USA, for the consolidation of the democracy and economy of the Republic of Moldova, but also for the development projects. For his part, Steve Daines praised Moldova's commitment to providing assistance to Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war in Ukraine.
The US official also said that the United States would continue to support our efforts to transform the country.
