Maia Sandu, in the top of the Romanians' trust

In the top of the foreign leaders who enjoy the Romanians' trust is the head of state, Maia Sandu, who is followed by the French president, Emmanuel Macron, who was succeeded by the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenski. In last place, in the top of the list of trust, is the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, according to the data of a survey carried out by the Avangarde Socio-Behavioral Studies Group, from Romania, reports Radio Moldova.

According to the same poll, 28% of respondents say that Ukrainians should continue to defend their country from Russian aggression, for 43% Ukraine's victory means the recovery of the territory, as it was before the February 24 invasion, for 32%, it means the recovery of the territories including Crimea.

At the same time, 48% of respondents believe that Ukraine and Russia should initiate negotiations.

More than 1/3 of Romanian citizens would support Ukraine's accession to NATO, while 16% would oppose it, 28% would accept Ukraine's accession to the European Union, and 23% declared against it. 

In the case of both questions, the number of undecideds is approximately 40%.

The study was conducted between October 24 and 31 and has a margin of error of ±3%.
