The European Commission's report on the implementation of the conditions for EU accession will be published in October 2023

The European Commission's report on the progress of the Republic of Moldova in the implementation of the nine conditions set by the Commission for granting the status of a candidate country for accession to the European Union (EU) will be published in October 2023. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu , in a show from Vocea Bessarabiei, quoted by Radio Moldova.

"Our roads, hospitals, institutions are currently not up to EU standards. We have several years of hard work to transform the Republic of Moldova into a state that, including visually and institutionally, begins to look like Romania, Slovakia, Poland with the conditions, we have an action plan for the implementation of the European Commission. The European Commission's report on our progress in implementing these actions will be published in twelve months. In the meantime, we have to work on very concrete things, on anti-corruption, the deoligarization law, on strengthening our capacities to progress towards the European Union", said Nicu Popescu.

We remind you that the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine received the status of candidate countries for joining the European Union at the end of June.
