Cahul: A unified Centre for the provision of public services will operate in Slobozia Mare

Residents of the village of Slobozia Mare (Cahul) will have access to a wide range of public services in electronic format. A unified Centre for the provision of public services will be established by the middle of 2023. Through the decision approved in Friday's meeting, the Government transferred, free of charge, two spaces for the location of the Centre's headquarters from the property of the state to the property of the village of Slobozia Mare.

The specialists of the centre will assist the inhabitants of the village to access the services they need in electronic format: cadastral services, civil status documents, permissive documents, allowances.

The new centre will facilitate the access of the inhabitants of Slobozia Mare to public services, taking into account that the village is located at a distance of about 50 km from the district centre of Cahul. Moreover, people from neighbouring villages will also have access to the centre's services: Văleni, Brânza, Manta, Paşcani.

A joint commission made up of representatives of the State Chancellery and the Town Hall of the village of Slobozia Mare will ensure the transfer of real estate within 30 days, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force.

The centre will be one of over 80 such centres, 17 of which are already active in the Republic of Moldova.
