Start of tenders under the "Good Roads" program

The first tender within the "Good Roads" program starts today and the reconstruction works of the local roads will start next month. This was announced by Prime Minister Ion Chicu, after a working meeting with the President Igor Dodon and the Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.

"We are following our plan announced in November 2014 - for massive road construction. Of course, the pandemic situation had an impact, but now they are working intensively on the Chisinau-Giurgiulesti route, both in Cimişlia, Comrat and on the route to Vulcăneşti. Those losses in the schedule are recovered and, as the contractors responsible for the construction of these roads assured us, the schedule initially announced, and the commitments will be fulfilled. Today, the first tender of the road reconstruction program in settlements - "Good roads" will be organized. Tenders for the vast majority of localities will take place this week. Starting with July 1, we will start the works in the localities. Therefore, we return to normal daily activities ", said Ion Chicu.
