Chisinau’s Mircea cel Batran Blvd. to be extended
Mircea cel Batran Boulevard in Chisinau’s Ciocana sector will be extended. Additionally, the trolleybus line passing through the neighborhood will be extended to Bucovina Str. The project presented by the Chisinau Mayor’s Office is expected to be completed in 30 months, IPN reports.
The street extension, as well the trolleybus line extension to Bucovina Street, will also come with the construction of a dispatch center, a roundabout, street lighting and parking lots.
According to Deputy Mayor Ilie Ceban, a tender process to identify contractors will be launched in two or three weeks. An amount of 240 million lei has been earmarked in the municipal budget for this project.
