Bust of academician Gheorghe Palade, inaugurated in Chisinau
The bust of academician Gheorghe Palade was inaugurated in the courtyard of the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Chisinau, an institution named after the famous scientist. The event is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the medical institution.
Present at the event, academician Eva Gudumac evoked the personality of the illustrious scientist Gheorghe Palade, emphasizing that the academician dedicated his whole life to the activity within the Municipal Clinical Hospital Nr. 1, he dedicated his life to the national health system and the field of maternal and child care.
The action took place in the presence of the eminent professor, Gheorghe Palade.
The author of the sculpture is Veaceslav Jigliţchi. The well-known sculptor also made the honorary plaque, "Academician Gheorghe Palade", installed on the frontispiece of the central block of the Municipal Clinical Hospital, inaugurated on May 11, 2021 in a festive meeting.
