The National Blood Transfusion Center will get modern equipment
The National Blood Transfusion Center will receive a non-reimbursable grant of 9.3 million lei through the "Humanitarian Response for Refugees from Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova" Project, funded by the Swiss Red Cross. To this end, a grant agreement has been concluded between the Ministry of Health, the National Blood Transfusion Center and the Swiss Red Cross.
With financial support from the Swiss Red Cross, consumables will be procured for blood collection, testing and production of blood components. Likewise, the National Blood Transfusion Center will be equipped with medical devices, such as cold rooms and refrigerated boxes, to expand the storage capacity of blood products and to ensure the necessary conditions for their transportation.
The Red Cross is a trusted partner of the Ministry of Health, with the support of which several projects have been implemented.
