Five flights to be operated by Flyone were cancelled. AAC filed a complaint

Five flights of the "Flyone" Airline were cancelled from Chisinau International Airport. The Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spinu, mentioned that he received several complaints from the citizens. In this context, he stated that he instructed the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) to investigate in detail the activity of this company and to withdraw / modify / suspend the permissive acts in case it cannot honour its commitments to the people to whom it sells a ticket.

Shortly afterwards, AAC wrote in a Facebook post that it had notified itself about this case and will investigate the activity of this airline, the circumstances that led to the cancellation of several flights but also the conditions under which consumers' rights are respected.

"In case of non-conformities detected, the Civil Aeronautical Authority reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or cancel the permissive documents of the air operator", the post reads.

Contacted by TRM.MD, the "Flyone" representatives did not answer the call. However, in the public space appeared comments of Vladimir Cebotari, the founder of the company, who mentioned that there are several causes that led to the cancellation of the races. "There is a constraint dictated by some restrictions of aircraft owners to allow ships to operate in the Republic of Moldova and to the Republic of Moldova, due to the border war. A second case is crews. Certain aircraft owners have postponed ship deliveries to replace the fleet for various reasons," Cebotari said.

Passengers who were to fly with this company say they had to stay at the airport for 24 hours without any explanation.
