COVID-19 in Moldova: Ten deaths and 363 people tested positive
Another 363 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in Moldova. The balance of cases in Moldova reached 170,549 people
Of the total number of cases, one is imported from the Ukraine.
The total number of tests performed - 1,406, of which 1,241 primary and 165 repeated.
Out of the total number of cases, 20 are healthcare workers: doctors - seven, nurses - four, support staff - six.
In all, 3,175 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in medical institutions, of which 281 are in an extremely serious health condition (59 are connected to assisted breathing).
Another 578 people were declared cured. In all, 158,005 people were treated of COVID-19.
4,918 people with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19 get home treatment, and 15,083 are under home supervision.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection confirms the deaths of ten people.
It is with great regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Angela Gadzina, who worked as a nurse in the Ultrasonography Department of the Mother and Child Institute. Mrs. Angela Gadzina was hospitalized at the Calarasi District Hospital on February 10. We express our sincere condolences to the family, relatives and the entire staff of the Mother and Child Institute.
To date, 81 healthcare workers died from COVID-19 infection. The total number of deaths caused by the virus reached 3,661.
