MP of BCS Elena Bodnarenco passed away
The deputy of the Communist and Socialist Bloc (BCS), Elena Bodnarenco, died today, July 4, at the age of 57. The information was confirmed for TRM.MD by the head of the Parliament's media relations service, Svetlana Rudenco.
Also, the deputy Vladimir Odnostalco wrote on his Telegram page that the politician was suffering from an incurable disease.
"The deputy and member of the Political Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Elena Bodnarenco, has died. She fought the disease for a long time, she worked until the last days ", the deputy wrote.
Elena Bodnarenco was born on March 5, 1965 in Soroca. She was a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in the 2014-2019 Legislative and previously in the 2005-2010 Legislative, on the lists of the Communist Party.
From 2011 to January 2015, Elena Bodnarenco was mayor of Soroca.
