The "kuliok" case: Law enforcement officers raided the home of a former PDM member
Prosecutors are continuing their investigation into the case against former President Igor Dodon. This morning, they searched the home of a former member of the Democratic Party, responsible for IT, Moldova 1 TV reports.
No official information has been released so far. At the same time, "Ziarul de Garda" writes, referring to the interim general prosecutor Dumitru Robu, that the searches take place in the case generically called "Kuliok", which also includes the former president, Igor Dodon, accused on several charges.
According to the media, it is about the blogger Ion Harghel, who previously held the position of vice president of the PDM Youth Organization. Now he is the author of the "Political Radar" project.
Harghel also confirmed that the searches were related to the so-called "kuliok" case, and that he had no status in the case.
"The connection with the so-called" kuliok "file is that in 2019, when the video images with Dodon and Plahotniuc first appeared, as we know, we were active in PDM. When the video images were uploaded by the prosecutors at that time, I was at the PDM office ", Ion Harghel wrote on his Telegram channel.
Harghel noted that he voluntarily handed over the phone and computer to the prosecuting officers.
"All my personal archive from their youth until now has been with them. I consider the contents of my devices to be absolutely irrelevant to that criminal case. I hope to get the devices back as soon as possible, "said Harghel.
