Hustle and bustle in the markets on Christmas Eve, where Moldovans are usually hoping to find good prices for both the food and the gifts they want to make to their loved ones. Even so, many have pulled at least a thousand lei out of their pockets so that their feast to have everything, both traditional citrus, for the delight of the children, TV Moldova 1 reports.

Merchants say that on Christmas Eve the prices remain unchanged. One kg of pork meat is sold on average for 60 lei. The live fish cost 55 lei, and tomatoes and cucumbers 35 lei. Mandarins and oranges are not missing from the shopping list, which sell for 17 lei.
   
Buyers rushed to buy not only food, but also gifts for loved ones.
  
During this period, nutritionists recommend, especially to those who fasted, to eat everything, but with measure.
