Igor Popa, Vlad Filat's former lawyer, deprived of license
Igor Popa, Vlad Filat's former lawyer, was deprived of license. The decision was taken today by the Ethics and Discipline Commission of the Moldovan Bar Association. The reasoned decision has not yet been published. The information was confirmed by the president of the Commission, Mihail Gafton, reports Mesager.
Igor Popa claims that the decision by which his license was revoked is illegal.
In a press release, he claims that the Commission for Ethics and Discipline is not the court of truth.
The complaint was filed by Vlad Filat after Igor Popa revealed more details about his former client during a TV show.
