Over 700 Ukrainian refugees employed in the Republic of Moldova

More than 720 citizens from Ukraine were employed in the Republic of Moldova until August 18, and this number is increasing, the National Employment Agency announces. Most Ukrainian citizens are employed in Chisinau, Balti, Ungheni and Cahul, reports Radio Moldova.

According to ANOFM, the number of employers who showed their willingness to employ Ukrainian citizens also increased. Thus, 150 employers declared about 2200 vacant jobs available for these people.

Also, over 400 Ukrainian citizens registered in the records of the territorial subdivisions under ANOFM will receive employment support.

We mention that there are over 80 thousand refugees from Ukraine on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. There are 74 temporary placement centers in the country, which house over three thousand Ukrainian refugees.
