Maia Sandu sent a message of condolences after the tragedy in Seoul
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, sent a message of condolences after the tragedy in Seoul in which more than 150 people died, and more than 150 others were injured, reports Radio Moldova.
"I am deeply saddened by the tragedy in Seoul, which took the lives of so many people. The most sincere condolences to all those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy", said Maia Sandu.
It all happened during a crowded Halloween party, which gathered at least 100,000 people in the same place. The massive Halloween party is the first event of this kind, without masks and restrictions, in the last three years.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known, but it has been reported that many of those present have symptoms of tachycardia and panic, most likely due to the large number of people in that space.
