Meteorologists announce a rainy weekend
A weekend with lightning and rains across the country is announced by the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), MOLDPRES reports.
According to meteorologists, on Saturday, June 11, daytime thermal values between 24-29 degrees Celsius are expected. At night, the air temperature will rise to 18 degrees Celsius.
The rains start on Saturday. Heavy rainfall is expected in the central and northern regions. It will rain in the south. The Yellow Code for Exceptional Fire Hazards remains valid until tomorrow.
On Sunday, June 12, the weather will get warmed by 1-2 degrees. The rains will continue in the north and center. Overall, next week will start with rainy weather.
This Sunday, Orthodox Christians celebrate the Pentecost. On Good Sunday, people decorate their homes and homes with lime, walnut, poplar or oak branches to ward off evil and disease. Lime branches have a special symbolism in this holiday: lime is believed to protect households from hail or the evil spirits of fairies.
