Peacekeepers from the National Army, trained by colleagues from the North Carolina National Guard
A team of medical instructors from the North Carolina National Guard of the USA conducts, with the soldiers of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion, meetings in the field of providing medical first aid. The theoretical and practical sessions are organized between September 26 and October 8.
These aim to familiarize the peacekeepers with the new practices and instructions in the field, the procedures for providing medical first aid, the evacuation with strict documentation, as well as the exchange of experience with American colleagues.
The course in the field of providing medical aid is part of the training plan of the National Army for 2022. Such trainings were also held in previous years in different units, with the involvement of soldiers, sergeants and officers of the National Army.
The cooperation between the US National Guard of North Carolina and the National Army of the Republic of Moldova started in 1996.
