Over 12,265 people have entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 12,265 crossings. 7,558 crossings were registered on the way into the Republic of Moldova, out of which 5,393 at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,352 at the border with Ukraine and 813 crossings by plane informs the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Interior Ministry.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 12,265 people were screened and 7,158 individual epidemiological files were completed. At the state border crossing, no person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection (fever, rhinorrhea, dry cough).

At the same time, during 24 hours, 72 people were documented for non-compliance with measures of prophylaxis, prevention or control of epidemic diseases (art. 76 'of the CC of the Republic of Moldova), ten people violated the regime of the border area. Also, the border policemen registered a case of illegal trafficking of goods, three attempts to cross the border with forged documents, and a foreign citizen exceeded the term of residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

Border Police Green Line officers (022 259 717) recorded 142 calls from citizens within 24 hours and provided consultations on the state border situation, crossing conditions and risks of spreading COVID-19.
